Editor's Update

Hi Everyone

Welcome to 2011 and to the Glasshouse Country News website - this is a brave step forward for us. After almost 25 years of printing our newspaper we have finally ventured into the world of publishing an electronic version of the paper, which will be available each week from now on.

It is exciting for us - and this version of the website is just stage one of our on-line presence. We have plenty more ideas that we plan to include in the coming months.

Over the years we often have feedback from readers that they pass on their copies of the paper (once they have read them cover to cover) to their children, friends or old neighbours who have moved out of the area but still like to keep up-to-date with what is happening locally.

Now that we are able to provide the paper on-line each week this should make things a lot easier for them to stay informed.

We will be providing an option for people who wish to have a free on-line subscription. So all they need to do is register their email address with us and each week, when the latest edition is on-line, they will receive an email with a link to it - could it be any easier than that?
